摘要
The Holland-Simpson thin-wire model is a versatile technique to manage wires in the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method. Parasitic solutions may pollute results computed with oblique thin wires in the FDTD grid, and a condition in which the current-density assignment does not generate artificial charges in the grid has been derived by Bérenger. In this study, we present several new current density assignments of the thin-wire model. The new implementations are based on the charge conservation method in particle-in-cell simulations. Furthermore, numerical experiments demonstrate the accuracy.
