Versatile STT-MRAM Architecture for Memory and Emerging Applications

Everspin Technologies, Inc. has successfully mass-produced STT-MRAM technology for a wide range of memory applications including data center, industrial, gaming, automotive, and Mil/Aero. In this presentation, different bitcell array architecture schemes are discussed that can be tailored for SRAM-like or Flash-like memory devices and for neuromorphic applications. A new local sourceline bitcell array architecture with wordline auto-boot is the key to fast and concurrent write 0/1 in our latest xSPI 64Mb STT-MRAM product. In addition to memory, emerging STT-MRAM applications and opportunities are discussed.
