Dual-Objective Optimization Scheduling Model and Analysis for Regional Integrated Electricity-Hydrogen System

This paper presents a dual-objective optimization scheduling model for Regional Integrated Electricity-Hydrogen System (RIEHS). The dual-objective function is first established to minimize the operation cost with expecting the least electricity loss in electricity storage and electricity-hydrogen conversion during long-term operation. The electricity-hydrogen conversion processes and the energy storage devices are modeled as constraints. Then, the proposed optimization function is normalized to a Goal-programming (GP) model to obtain the solution that has the least distance from the optimized value of each objective in the Pareto front set, which is implemented as a mixed integer programming (MIP) problem by MATLAB/ CPLEX solver. Simulation results show that the proposed model is able to realize the optimal scheduling considering operation cost and power loss. Also, the penetration of renewable energy can be ensured.
