摘要

•Simultaneous wastewater and excess sludge treatment were achieved in a SNADF system.•TN removal and sludge reduction performance were improved via adding excess sludge.•Nitrogen removal efficiency was 93.4%-94.6% with low Yobs of 0.05–0.11 kgMLSS/kgCOD.•Adding exogenous excess sludge facilitated AOB and anammox bacterial enrichment.•Fermentation was enhanced, promoting sludge reduction and partial denitrification.
