A High Performance Microcavity Filter for Mobile Communication Frequency Band

In this paper, an eight-cavity filter for B34 and B39 mobile frequency bands is designed, the operating frequency is 1.885GHz-2.025GHz (S11<-14dB), the maximum insertion loss in the pass band is 0.62, and the minimum insertion loss is 0.34. At 70MHz out-of-band, out-of-band rejection is greater than 80dB. The overall size is 47.6mm×23.2mm×9mm, the microcavity filter proposed in this paper, by changing the conventional topology and the size of the metal probe, makes the device have the characteristics of miniaturization, high stability, high Q value, low loss, high out-of-band suppression, etc., debugging and processing are more convenient, and can be widely used in a variety of communication devices, adapting to the trend of integration and miniaturization of communication devices.
