Study on SAR Image Simulation of Real Complex Ground Based on DEM

The actual complex ground consists of many types of terrains, and the scattering characteristics and electromagnetic (EM) parameters of different terrains are of great difference, which has a great influence on the SAR image simulation of the actual complex ground. In order to improve the accuracy and authenticity of SAR image simulation, this paper obtains the elevation information of the ground by DEM and adopts the DEM terrain division method based on terrain factor to divide the terrain. On this basis, the SBR is employed to establish the EM scattering model of the actual complex ground. Finally, the SAR image simulation of the actual complex ground is carried out based on the EM scattering model.
