Bipartite Tracking Control for the Complex Dynamical Networks Based on Links Dynamics

In general, a complex dynamical network (CDN) can be considered as consisting of nodes subsystem and links subsystem, both of which are coupled with each other. In this paper, a novel bipartite tracking(that is state and velocity tracking) control protocol is employed to realize the bipartite tracking control of nodes for the CDN with the help of links. Firstly, the dynamical models of nodes and links for the CDN are established, and three assumptions for CDN and the definition of the bipartite tracking are given. Further, the control goal of this paper is given, and then the corresponding bipartite control protocol and the auxiliary tracking target (ATT) are designed to realize the bipartite tracking control of nodes for the CDN. Finally, a simulation example is implemented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed bipartite control protocol.
