Bordism of self-intersection manifolds of certain codimension one immersions

摘要

For a given immersion M^7↬ℝ^8, we completely determine bordism class of its self-intersection manifolds. This is done by computing the image of the unstable Hurewicz homomorphism h:π _8^sℝ P^∞≃π _8Qℝ P^∞→ H_8(Qℝ P^∞;ℤ/2) and applying formulae of Asadi-Golmankhaneh and Eccles.
