The deep rare metal metallogenic characteristics of the Jiajika lithium polymetallic deposit in Sichuan Province, China: Revealed by the Jiajika Scientific Drilling

•The main metallogenic period of Jiajika is ∼213 Ma. Another late Nb–Ta mineralization occurred at ∼190 Ma in-depth (3186 m).•The occurrence minerals and spatial distribution of rare metal in JSD-1 were revealed.•The trace element contents of minerals indicate the continuous enrichment process of lithium in the granitic melt.
