•Graph networks were used to reveal the core and community structure of urban human mobility.•There is a high degree of overlap between dockless bike-sharing mobility hotspots and underground lines.•Urban humans are more likely to congregate towards high influence nodes on weekends.•Congestion in bike-sharing communities is improved on weekends.•Transferring to other public transport is the most popular daily activity type for people riding shared bikes.
