Resilient quantized control for asynchronous sampled-data networked control systems under DoS attacks

This paper investigates resilient quantized control for networked control systems that operate under limited communication resources and face denial-of-service (DoS) attacks. The focus is to design asynchronous periodic sampling transmission strategies. First, a new dynamic quantization strategy is introduced to address the challenges posed by limited network capabilities. To minimize quantization errors, a novel resilient quantization strategy with adaptive step sizes is proposed for transmitting data from the plant side to the controller side. This adaptive quantizer effectively reduces quantization errors. Additionally, sufficient conditions are derived to ensure the asymptotic stability of the proposed networked control system. The dynamic quantization strategy is also applicable to systems with single output channels. Finally, numerical simulations are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.
