摘要

•ILs, DES, and SUPRAS phase were applied to extract carotenoids from EUP.•The SUPRAS phase improved the extraction of natural carotenoids.•DES and SUPRAS phase extracts exhibited thermal preservation of EUP carotenoids.•ILs showed high light preservation of EUP carotenoids.•The octanoic-based SUPRAS phase and IL solution were employed in the recycling process.
