•The obtained superhydrophobic materials has excellent Photo/electro-thermal effect.•Under one sunlight, the surface temperature of the material can reach 93 ℃.•Under a voltage of 10 V, the surface temperature of the material can reach 134.6 ℃.•The obtained material can be used for photothermal defrosting and deicing.•The obtained materials have excellent durability and flame retardancy.
