Heart rate lowering for coronary CTA with Ivabradine in atrial fibrillation
Journal of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography(2023)
摘要
Introduction: Atrial fibrillation (AF) poses a challenge for adequate heart rate (HR) lowering prior to coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA). Ivabradine inhibits If channels expressed in the sinoatrial node and is commonly used for HR lowering prior to CCTA in patients presenting in a sinus rhythm. Emerging animal and human data suggests that Ivabradine may be effective in HR lowering in AF by slowing conduction in the atrioventricular node. The use of Ivabradine for HR lowering prior to CCTA in patients presenting in AF has not been studied.
