Introduction: Plaque quantification from coronary computed tomography angiography (CTA) has emerged as a valuable predictor of cardiovascular risk. Deep learning (DL) can provide automated quantitation of coronary plaque from coronary CTA, potentially enabling routine clinical use. Using a previously validated model, we determined age and sex-specific distributions of DL-based plaque measurements and evaluated their associations with fatal or non-fatal myocardial infarction.
