摘要
Uterine leiomyomas are common noncancerous hormonally-dependent neoplasms of uterine smooth-muscle cells and fibroblasts.(1) Despite being the cause of substantial morbidity, there is no non-hormonal medical treatment for leiomyomas. In vitro studies have identified the Janus kinase/signal transducer and activator of transcription (JAK-STAT) signaling pathway in leiomyoma cells as a promising target.(2, 3)
