摘要
The treatment of particulates and polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans (PCDD/Fs) in the municipal solidwaste flue gas using a catalytic filter (CF) has gained substantialattention recently. However, coupling PCDD/F oxidation catalysts intothe PTFE filter remains a challenge. Herein, the MnCeFeOx@PTFE (MCFe@PTFE)CF for the removal of particulates and PCDD/F was prepared by theultrasonic immersion and foam coating method. The effects of the catalystloading amount, reaction temperature, and filtration velocity on thelow-temperature catalytic performance of the MCFe@PTFE CF for theremoval of PCDD/F model compounds have been thoroughly investigated.Further investigations were conducted, namely, Brunauer-Emmett-Telleranalysis, scanning electron microscopy, thermography/differentialthermography, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and Fourier transforminfrared spectroscopy. The characterization results demonstrated thatthe catalyst loading has little effect on the physical propertiesof the bags. In addition, the physical properties and removal performanceof MCFe@PTFE on particulates and PCDD/F were studied systematically. The PCDD/F removal efficiency by the MCFe@PTFE CF can reach 82.30%at 180 & DEG;C under a face velocity and catalyst loading amount of0.5 m/min and 300 g/m(2), respectively. Moreover, the dustRE of the CF is as high as 99.97%. The main byproducts of PCDD/F catalyticoxidation were identified by GC-MS. Possible reaction pathwaysfor the catalytic oxidation of PCDD/F were proposed.
