Evaluation of Distribution Line Fault Probability and Line Reinforcement Method in Typhoon Events

Aiming at the problem of distribution line fault in typhoon events, a method for evaluating the fault probability of distribution line before the arrival of typhoon and a reinforcement method are proposed. Firstly, based on historical wind speed data, the wind speed hybrid prediction model is used to predict the local wind speed in 24 hours after the upcoming typhoon. Secondly, the fault model of component is used to calculate the distribution line fault probability of IEEE 33-bus distribution system. Finally, the corresponding reinforcement measures of the distribution lines are proposed and the power flow of the power distribution system before and after reinforcement is compared. This method can provide reference for emergency early warning and disaster prevention and mitigation during typhoons in the distribution network of southeast China.
