摘要
•The Hatu Intrusion formed at 556 ± 4 Ma, which is the first Neoproterozoic mafic–ultramafic intrusion with significant Cu-PGE mineralization in the Eastern Kunlun Orogen.•The Hatu Intrusion formed in the geodynamic setting of terminal continental rift-related extension associated with the break-up of Rodinia supercontinent.•The primary magma was originated from low-degree partial melting of sulfur-depleted garnet peridotite with inheriting some subduction components.•The potential mechanism of sulfide saturation is considered crustal contamination rather than fractional crystallization.
