The Preparation of ZnCoOx/Graphite Denitration Catalyst by In-Situ Pyrolysis Method

The bimetallic ZnCo-MOFs was prepared by the solvothermal method using terephthalic acid as the organic ligand and cobalt acetate and zinc acetate as the raw materials, then ZnCo-MOFs was roasted under nitrogen atmosphere to obtain the ZnCoOx/C catalyst. For comparison, Zn-MOFs and Co-MOFs were prepared by the same method, and then roasted to obtain ZnOx/C and CoOx/C catalysts. In addition, their catalytic activities were evaluated in the selective catalytic reduction of NOx with ammonia as the reducing agent (NH3-SCR). Compared with the ZnOx/C and CoOx/C, the ZnCoOx/C catalyst exhibits better SCR activity (the conversion of NOx is about 62% at 300 & DEG;C). It is because that a high content of Co3+ can generate more acidic sites and the adsorbed oxygen. The introduction of Zn can also provide the additional acidic sites and enhance the redox capacity of the catalyst.
