摘要
This paper analyzes the publication practices of the Zeitschrift fur Soziologie and the Kolner Zeitschrift fur Soziologie und Sozialpsychologie, taking into account gender-typical developments since the mid-1990s. The background is the change in social science publishing that has occurred parallel with an increase in the share of women in the social sciences. Drawing on explanations of gender segregation in organizations, we describe women's participation in the publication of research articles and book reviews, as well as in peer review and editorial boards, based on a self-compiled data set. Despite considerable progress in increasing their visibility, women are not yet represented in all functional groups in proportion to their expected share. As editors and as authors of research articles they were most successful, and in the latter, collaborations with men proved beneficial.
