Analysis of Target Detection Techniques in Low Altitude Strong Clutter Background

The detection of various targets under strong clutter background has long been a technical challenge for low altitude radar. In low altitude environments, due to the significant increase in ground clutter, the echo of the target to be detected is easily masked by these strong clutter. Unlike mid to high altitude airspace, various types of low altitude targets such as low altitude penetration aircraft and small unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as issues such as low altitude strong ground clutter, meteorological clutter, and multipath, all increase the difficulty of low altitude radar in detecting targets. This paper mainly conducts research and analysis on key technologies such as clutter suppression and target detection in low altitude environments.
