摘要

•No prior studies have investigated disaster preparedness among patients with ALS.•We evaluated disaster preparedness in 48 patients with ALS and 23 caregivers.•Awareness of disaster preparedness in those without ventilators was low.•We found that the level of awareness among patients with ALS and their families with ventilators is insufficient.
