Free-Space QKD Link Supported by AI Algorithm.

In this work, we explore a new approach for the fine-adjustment feedback loop in a free-space quantum key distribution (QKD) system. In particular, we propose a new feedback loop based on artificial intelligence (AI) to correct the turbulence effects induced by the propagation on a free-space channel. The proof of concept proposed in this paper demonstrates the feasibility of the method and paves the way toward a large deployment of free-space links in intracity scenarios.
