Monitoring of Tobacco Planting based on Remote Sensing in Karst Landforms

To obtain the information of tobacco planting and production, the manual statistics method usually be adopted, which has many disadvantages. Remote sensing monitoring can solve the above problems. Aiming at the characteristic that Guizhou karst landform tobacco planting has a high fragmentation; the paper presents a remote sensing recognition technology route that integrates ground-assisted GIS information. This article first introduces the theoretical basis for remote sensing monitoring of tobacco leaf planting; then analyzes the growth cycle characteristics of tobacco leaf to obtain the optimal monitoring phase of remote sensing and gives the corresponding technical route; finally, taking an example Corresponding application research, and relevant field actual adjustment accuracy verification. Application results show that the use of remote sensing technology to monitor tobacco-planting area has great application value for implementing the “dual control” policy of the tobacco industry and reducing labor and costs.
