Is Workload Associated With Internal Impingement in Professional Baseball Pitchers? An Analysis of Days of Rest, Innings Pitched, and Batters Faced.

This analysis revealed significantly greater pitcher workload and percentage of starting pitchers in professional baseball players diagnosed with internal impingement when compared with healthy controls. However, this injury did not seem to be associated with an acute increase in workload.
