摘要
•Cerebral amyloid angiopathy–related inflammation is an under-recognised condition.•It presents with acute consciousness disorder, headache, and seizures, among others.•It is not part of the current cerebral amyloid angiopathy diagnostic criteria.•Including the condition in the latter criteria could avoid unnecessary confusion.•It would raise awareness, with prognostic significance, as the disease is treatable.
