摘要
The flower-like MnO2@graphene oxide (FMGO) nanocomposite was synthesised in a simple one-pot reaction process via a chemical method. With the characterisation of X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and Brunauer Emmett Teller (BET) surface area measurement, the different stages of the nanocomposite were presented, meanwhile the mechanism was proposed. The adsorption behaviour of methyl orange (MO) onto the FMGO was investigated and the experimental results indicated that the nanocomposite showed excellent adsorption capacity toward MO solution with high stability. The superior adsorption performance of the nanocomposite could be attributed to its unique flower-like porous structure, which provided much active chemisorbed sites, large specific surface area and high stability. It is expected that the FMGO nanocomposite has a potential application in water treatment fields due to its superior adsorption performance and good stability.
