摘要
•We describe a 50-m-thick section of the ca. 1.9 Ga Nuvilik Formation.•Trace-element compositions, δ13Corg, and δ34S were determined for shale samples.•V, Mo, and U contents reveal redox fluctuations from suboxic to sulfidic conditions.•1.88 Ga Circum-Superior LIP activities may have related to the redox fluctuations.
