Abstract Gastric diseases due in particular to Campylobacter, non-typhoid Salmonella and Shigella resulting from food and/or water problems are a disproportionately distributed burden in developing countries, specifically in Central Africa. The aim of this study is to map the prevalence of Campylobacter and Salmonella/Shigella involvement in diarrhoeal syndromes in Central Africa over the period 1998 to 2022.
