摘要
This article deals with food safety management in developing countries. The components of a good food safety management include national food policy and legislation, standards development platform, inspection, scientific evidence, training and education, epidemiological surveillance, and alignment with international requirements. Despite their delay, developing countries are striving, with varying speeds, to achieve these requirements. Thus, we observe countries with a well-structured management system, while others are lagging behind. However, the majority of developing countries face many challenges such as low funding, lack of institutional coordination, and limited knowledge of the stakeholders. Therefore, efforts must be made to guarantee their populations good quality foods.
