3D-4K Exoscope-Assisted CO₂ Laser Supraglottoplasty for Severe Laryngomalacia in a Pediatric Patient

Laryngomalacia is the most frequent congenital laryngeal anomaly. Surgery is possible by means of cold knife, carbon dioxide (CO2) laser, microdebrider and coblation, traditionally under microscopic view. We here describe the use of the 3D-4K exoscope assisted CO2 laser supraglottoplasty in tubeless general anesthesia in spontaneous breathing in a 5 month-old patient with severe laryngomalacia.
