Advanced Variants of HTSC Wires for ТRТ Electromagnetic System

The possibility of fabricating winding wires for electromagnetic systems of a tokamak-type reactor using high-temperature superconductors (HTSC) operating at temperatures below 20 K is discussed. The requirements for HTSC wires from the point of view of their use in TRT are given. The properties of modern HTSC tapes manufactured by SuperOx are discussed. Promising options for the fabrication of powerful HTSC conductors for TRT are considered and proposed.
