摘要
In Video 1, we present a case of severe aortic valve insufficiency (AI) with a normal appearing aortic root, repaired with valve-sparing root replacement reimplantation technique, also known as the David procedure (1). Valve-sparing root replacements were originally developed to treat patients with aortic root pathology and normal functioning aortic valves. Over the past 30 years, we have learned that the reimplantation technique (2) provides the most complete, robust, and durable annuloplasty and repair of the aortic valve.
