摘要
Coherent optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (CO-OFDM) systems have inferior nonlinear performance due to their high peak to average power ratio (PAPR) characteristics. In this paper we analytically demonstrated the effectiveness of discrete Fourier transform spread (DFT-Spread) method in reducing PAPR and proposed an interpolated subcarrier selective mapping method for PAPR reduction based on DFT spread technology.
