摘要
Present study was focused on partitioning the genotypic and phenotypic correlations among several maturity related traits of soybeans with 100-seed weight in direct and indirect effects using path analysis at different combinations of water and temperature levels i.e., T0= 4 irrigations + Average weekly temperature= 36.50 & DEG;C, T1= 3 irrigations + Average weekly temperature= 33.83 & DEG;C and T2 = 2 irrigations + Average weekly temperature= 29.80 & DEG;C. Twenty three entries including fifteen crosses (resulting from North Carolina Mating Design II) and their parents were evaluated with Randomized Complete Block Design using two factors factorial arrangements with three replications at maturity stage. Recorded data were subjected to phenotypic and genotypic correlation coefficient analysis and path coefficient analysis. Our findings revealed that plant height, plant fresh weight, plant dry weight, leaf area, leaf temperature, protein content, number of seeds/pod, number of pods/plant, number of nodes/plant, days to 50% maturity, days to 50% flowering, oil contents, proline content, chlorophyll content and electrolyte membrane leakage may be used to develop selection criteria on the basis of interrelationship under various levels of water and temperature in soybean.
