A Wideband Rectangular DRA Excited by a Differential Power Divider

摘要
A differentially fed rectangular dielectric resonator antenna is presented. In this paper, a balanced power divider (PD) is used to feed the proposed DRA. The rectangular DRA can be excited by a wide bandwidth with two modes which are TE11d and TE11(d+1), using the differential feed. The differential impedance bandwidth is successfully simulated as about 43.3% (2.48 - 3.8 GHz). The designed differential DRA has a broadside radiation pattern with a max gain of 5.8 dB.
