Design of Rectifying Metasurfaces for Wireless Energy Transmission Systems

摘要
a novel rectifying metasurface (MS) with low power consumption and high efficiency is applied to wireless energy harvesting. The proposed metasurface structure consists of an array of cells with diodes, a dc feed, and a load. A new approach which adds rectifier diodes to MS cells is proposed. This practice eliminates the impedance matching circuit connected between metasurface absorber and rectifier diode, which can simplify the structure. Some simulation results are given, these results show that rectification efficiency can reach over 60% at 5.2GHz.
