Manifestation of Reflection-Asymmetric Deformation in the Structure of Superheavy Nuclei

The characteristics of of alternating parity bands in transfermium nuclei with Z = 102–110 are calculated. The energy values of the lowest negative parity states and transitional dipole, quadrupole, and octupole moments are predicted. Assessments of the critical angular momenta at which the transition from oscillatory motion to stable reflection-asymmetric deformation occurs are performed. The calculations are carried out using the cluster model of a dinuclear system.
