摘要
Objective: Laparoscopic single-site surgery is a minimally invasive technique feasible for the management of gynecologic cancer. This article aims to describe a series of patients who underwent minimally invasive single-site surgery by the Department of gynecologic oncology at the Instituto Nacional de Cancerologia (INC) in Bogota, Colombia, from January 2016 to December 2018. Methods: Descriptive, retrospective case series of women over 18 years old who received surgical treatment of cervical preinvasive lesions, gynecologic cancer, and risk-reducing surgery at the INC using the single-site technique between January 2016 and December 2018. Clinical and surgical outcomes were included. A univariate analysis was performed in the statistical software R Project version 3.6.2. Results: A total of 73 cases were included for final analysis. Median age was 45 years (SD +/- 9.69; range: 27-74). Surgical time was 57 minutes (SD +/- 69.96; range: 25-380). The estimated mean blood loss was 20cc (SD +/- 19.62; range: 5-100). One patient (1.37%) required conversion to laparotomy, and 56 patients (76.71%) were discharged the same day of theprocedure. Conclusion: In this study, laparoscopic single-site surgery proved to be a feasible and safe surgical technique for patients with gynecological oncological pathology.
