Growth and High-Performance Photodetectors of CsPbBr3 Single Crystals

Organic-inorganichybrid perovskites have demonstrated exceptionalphotovoltaic properties, making them highly promising for solar cellsand photodetectors (PDs). However, the organic components of thesematerials are vulnerable to heat and strong light illumination, limitingtheir application prospects. All-inorganic cesium-based perovskitePDs, on the other hand, possess enhanced thermal tolerance and stability,making them ideal for perovskite applications. The utilization ofa ternary mixture solvent and additives in combination with singlecrystal (SC) growth has enabled the production of highly crystallineSCs with a defect density of 3.79 x 10(9) cm(-3). The performance of the SC PDs had been evaluated using metal-semiconductor-metaldevices, which demonstrated excellent results with a dark currentas low as 0.198 & mu;A at 10 V bias, on-off ratios exceeding10(3), and a response time of shorter than 1 ms.
