摘要
In this survey, we investigated the discomfort of delay between music and movement in online dance performance support. In an online environment, there is a delay due to the communication environment. Due to this delay, when multiple dancers dance simultaneously at a distance, they cannot dance in sync with the music and their movements appear to be out of sync. In previous studies, recommended delay times between audio and video have been investigated. However, the acceptable range of delay when multiple dancers dance has not been verified. Therefore, in this survey, assuming an online dance lesson with multiple dancers, we conducted a questionnaire survey on “discomfort with movement delay,” “ease of dancing,” and “ease of remembering choreography,” using five different dance videos with different interfaces. The results of the survey revealed that grouping the videos according to the size of the delay improved the ease of dancing and the viewability of the videos, and that the number of people on the screen did not affect the ease of dancing or the viewability of the videos. It was also found that people felt uncomfortable if the video was delayed by more than one beat relative to the music.
