Intra­ligand bond lengths show the di­thiol­ene ligands to be in their half-oxidized radical monoanionic form. Inter­molecular tBu-C—H⋯arenecentroid and tBu-C—H⋯NiS2C2 centroid close contacts guide the packing arrangement for 1.
