Multiple therapeutic mechanisms of pyrrolic N-rich g-C3N4 nanosheets with enzyme-like function in the tumor microenvironment

We designed and constructed pyrrolic nitrogen-rich g-C3N4 nanosheets loaded with Cu ions to achieve CDT/PDT/enzyme-catalyzed multi-therapy under near-infrared light. Nano enzyme materials with catalase properties can produce three kinds of ROS (·OH, O2•– and 1O2) in the process of realizing chemodynamic therapy and photodynamic therapy. This N-rich material can effectively transfer electrons from g-C3N4 to metal-N4 sites, promoting the oxidation–reduction reaction of metals with different valence states, and improving the reusability of materials.
