Very high cycle fretting fatigue behavior of IN718 reinforced by IN625/20 % WC laser cladding

摘要
•IN718 reinforced by IN625/20 % WC laser cladding is used to complete the VHCFF experiment in high temperature.•The optimal process parameters of IN625/20 % WC cladding material are generated.•WC particles can enhance the contact surface's anti-fatigue performance, which is proportional to the contact area.•The predicted crack based on the critical plane method matches the physical crack in the same load condition.
