摘要
•The supported ternary metallic catalysts (PtSnM/CeO2; M = Mn, W, Nb) with the closely coupled multi-catalytic active sites are prepared.•The ternary metallic catalysts show good catalytic activities for toluene and chlorobenzene (CB) oxidation and excellent chlorine resistance.•The chlorine-containing toxic by-products can be effectively inhibited to form over the ternary metallic catalysts.•H2O introduction promotes removal of the chlorine species.
