Enhancement in pool boiling performance of GNP/Cu-Al2O3 nano-composite coated copper microporous surface

摘要
•Results of the pool boiling experiments on GNP/Cu-Al2O3 nanocomposite coated copper surfaces (NCCS) are presented.•Present data are compared with the data obtained from the Rohsenow correlation and other published results.•Dynamics of bubble growth, departure and site density are analyzed through high speed camera.•It is found that CHF and BHTC of the NCCS are 122% and 239% higher than the bare copper surface, respectively.
