Infantile thermal epiglottitis successfully managed without intubation

Myxomas are the most common benign primary cardiac tumor. Their clinical presentation can vary, ranging from asymptomatic to constitutional symptoms, obstructive or embolic symptoms. These can even be life-threatening sometimes. Here, we report a case of an elderly female with exertional breathlessness, which turned out to be a large left atrial myxoma, diagnosed using a point of care ultrasound.
