29.3 Assessment of Young BIPOC Children in the Clinic

The objectives of this presentation are to describe: 1) how systemic racism may be impacting the lives of patients and families starting as early as conception and extending through early childhood; 2) how to utilize a more nuanced and race-conscious framework when formulating a case; and 3) systemic racism and its implications when synthesizing treatment recommendations for very young children and families.
