First-in-human study of the K-Clip™ transcatheter annular repair system for severe functional tricuspid regurgitation

•We summarize the compassionate-use experience with K-Clip™ annuloplasty system in 15 compassionate patients with severe tricuspid regurgitation.•K-Clip™ annuloplasty system demonstrated high technical success, acceptable safety as well as significant clinical improvement in the reduction of TR.•Larger prospective studies with long-term follow-up are needed to determine its durable efficacy in TR reduction and impacts on clinical outcomes.
